About this Course

This 12-weeks course is designed for entrepreneurs or budding full stack engineers who want to code their own ideas. It will take you all the way from zero to starting up your own company and building a product. No prior experience in tech is needed!

Want to work in a startup? Interested to be a full stack engineer? Do you want to become an entrepreneur and build your own products? This course will give you all the tools to do so.

The course is broken down to two parts:
1. 6 Weeks Development Bootcamp - We teach you comprehensive full stack web development skills using Ruby on Rails.
2. 6 Weeks Development Cycle - You will be broken up into groups to build a product of your choosing. The product development is under the supervision of our instructor. You can choose to work on a project assigned by our industry partner or to start up a new project. Your team will showcase the product during the demo day.

We will teach you the tech skills to become a programmer and the business knowledge to be an entrepreneur. This course was designed for the beginner developer, the juniors in the world with no tech knowledge. We will turn you into a master of fullstack web engineering. It was made for the people who have GREAT ideas but don't know how to make turn them into REAL websites.

Partnership

The course is in partnership with Tri5's Next50 movement. During the Development Cycle of the Project, your team will choose a mentor from our list of Next50 mentors. Your Next50 mentors will advise you on your product and business. In addition to the business mentor, you will also be paired with a tech mentor, who will conduct small scale tech training to guide you in building the product. See the Next50 Mentors Here.

Classrooms

Our classrooms are located in the heart of the startup entrepreneur scene in Singapore at Block 71 Ayer Rajah Crescent. You will be immersed in the startup experience. Our students have a chance to visit other successful startups such as Carousell and Grab. For the first 6 weeks of development bootcamp, courses are taught in our classrooms under the supervision of our instructors. The setting will be a lecture style tutorial. For the second part of the development cycle of the course, you will be put in a open co working space where you can work together on projects.

Demo Day

There is a demo day where you will demo your team's projects to the industry. We have an industry panel to judge the pitch. The winners of the demo day can win up to $3,000 in cash. The investors at the demo day may also make an offer of investment in your team.
